Academic Support

After-School Academic Assistance Program

Clayton Place plays an integral part in providing MS/HS students with much needed academic assistance.  The After-school Academic Assistance Program runs Monday – Thursday from approximately 2:20pm – 3:20pm throughout the school year.  This program is run in collaboration with the Clayton MS/HS Guidance Office and the National Honor Society.  Certified teaching staff are available to assist students with remedial work and homework assistance.  In addition, upperclassman Honor Society members serve as peer tutors to also assist with academic support. Clayton Place will also offer Individualized Academic Learrning Assessments for all students enrolled in the tutoring program.  At these meetings, students will meet with a Clayton Place counselor to discuss the important skills of time management, organization, and proper study habits.
