Today our students had an exciting (and educational!) time exploring real fire trucks and learning all about fire safety from our local heroes! They got a close-up look at the tools firefighters use, asked amazing questions, and even practiced what to do in an emergency. A big THANK YOU to Clayton fire department for keeping us safe and teaching us how to be fire smart! 🙌❤️

As we head into the season of colds and flu, let’s remember one of the simplest (and most powerful!) ways to stay healthy: handwashing.

👉 Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds—especially before eating, after coughing/sneezing, and after using the restroom.
👉 Handwashing helps prevent the spread of colds, flu, and other germs that can impact learning.
👉 When soap and water aren’t available, hand sanitizer is a great backup.

Together, we can keep our classrooms safe, healthy, and ready for learning. 💙
