Get a registration packet from our Board of Education Office on Monday-Friday between 8 am-4 pm OR download and print by clicking on a link below:

Registration appointments are available weekly on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30am to 5:30pm.

*NO WALK-INS or DROP-OFF registration packets accepted*

Transportation Policy

PRESCHOOL: Our District provides free transportation for all preschool students.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Our District provides free transportation for any student in Kindergarten through 5th grade whose residence is ½ mile or more from the Elementary School OR whose residence requires the student to walk along routes designated as hazardous by the Clayton Board of Education. Students who are not eligible for transportation are considered walkers and parents are responsible for their commute to/from school.

MIDDLE SCHOOL and HIGH SCHOOL: Our District provides free transportation for any student in 6th through 12th grade whose residence is over 2.5 miles from the Middle School and High School locations OR whose residence requires the student to walk along routes designated as hazardous by the Clayton Board of Education. Students who are not eligible for transportation are considered walkers and parents are responsible for their commute to/from school.

Before and After School Programs

KIDS CHOICE: offers before and after school childcare for Preschool and Elementary School students. Their program is located at Herma S. Simmons Elementary School in Clayton.
