Dear Parents/Guardians:
We cordially invite you to attend our annual “Back to School Night” on Thursday, September 15th. You may enter the High School through the main entrance beginning at 6:30 pm. You should report to your child’s Homeroom/1st Period class which will begin at 6:45 pm. In class you will receive a copy of your child’s schedule and a school map.
This is a very important event for your child and the faculty at Clayton High School. Back-to-School Night provides an excellent opportunity for you to become acquainted with our facilities and to meet your child’s teachers. It’s an opportunity to find out the expectations, curriculum, classroom procedures, and methods of assessment for each course. Most of all, it allows you to put faces with the names of the people who teach and are involved in your child’s success.
Members of our Guidance Department will be available to discuss any questions and Clayton’s SAC will be available to discuss student support services.
If you are unable to attend, you will be able to view my introduction video which will be posted on the Clayton High School’s webpage, https://claytonps.org/schools/clayton-high-school/ .
It is our goal to provide your child with a positive and successful educational experience. Please help us to achieve this by attending our “Back to School Night.” I am looking forward to seeing you there.
